Fund Raising in Wadhurst
OK Team!
We need to organise ourselves into two teams for this afternoon. A team, of about 4 explorers, need to start the afternoon at the memorial hall, with the rest heading down to the hall at uplands to help the scouts out. Here is the schedule for tonight:
- 15:00 - Memorial hall team to arrive to help with setup. Nominate one explorer to speak to the organisers at the hall to find out what to do and to ascertain whether we can put up a small display. Politely ask the organisers if you are allowed to collect for our own Keyna Street Scouts appeal. Memorial team continue to help throughout the evening. Main duties will be handing out flyers and possibly helping to clear down.
- 15:30 - Panto team to gather at uplands, maybe this team could help for 30 mins at the memorial hall before hand. Help the scouts with setup and setup you display promoting the street scouts appeal.
- 17:30 - First panto performance complete. Food available. Help needed ushering and selling refreshments.
- 19:15 - Gather back at the uplands hall for the second panto performance.
- 21:00 - End of clear down
As discussed we need a really big turn out tonight and those with uniform are expected to be wearing it!
